digital quick sketch demo

Today I recorded a quick digital sketch starting with a few custom brushes. Then a little refining of the head for phase 2. This one might make it into the rendering book as an example of another technique to use when quick sketching digitally.

Hey, Scott! Nice mech! =) How long did it take?

Thanks. 32 minutes for the greyscale one and another 40 for the colorizing and refinement of the head. A mech like this you can spend a long time noodling.

Greetings Scott! I have always been a fan of your work, and our company was at Gnomon workshop in 2006 back during development of Halo3. I remember your Photoshop rendering tutorials were amazing. Keep up the awesome work!

Hey Scott, you should put together a Windows 7 Theme pack of some of your drawings. I'm a fan of your work and would love to show it off to my coworkers. :-)

Keep up the good work!

Hi Scott, your work is fantastic and your Gnomon Workshop DVDs are invaluable.

In addition do you plan on covering digital painting techniques used in any of your upcoming books?

Thanks All.

Priyesh, Yes, this one is for my rendering book. The entire book is about rendering with lots of digital examples throughout.

Scott.
